Mason Cooley 11/19/2013


Cooley is an artist based in Los Angeles and currently teaches at Art Center College of Design.  He receivece his BFA and MFA from Art Center in 1997 and 2000.  He works mainly in sculpture and video.  Cooley has shown at numerous galleries and locations such as China Art Objects, Sister Gallery, Royal College of Art in London, Luckman Gallery, Location One in New York, Rental Gallery, and more.  In addition, his work has been apart of various publications like i-D Magazine, Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, Juncture, and The Rambler.  Cooley’s work constructs itself through a metaphysical lens that addresses its physicality through psychical means.
